TOG has collaborated with awesome Amsterdam-based brand Witloft to produce these exclusive knife rolls. Witloft is known for its traditional Dutch craftsmanship and hand-made leather aprons.
The roll features two leather straps for totally secure transportation and a detachable shoulder strap and carry handle. The dark brown Buffalo leather is vegetable tanned to reduce its environmental impact. Part of the reason we partnered with Witloft was because the leather is soft and pliable, allowing the roll to lie completely flat. This is top quality natural material that ages fantastically with time.
TOG Blade guards are essential to protect the leather from your knives. Every knife roll comes with the following nine blade guards:
1 x Blade Guard A (25x120mm) for blades up to 11cm
3 x Blade Guard B (33x150mm) for blades up to 14cm
1 x Blade Guard C (57x190mm) for blades up to 18cm
2 x Blade Guard D (57x250mm) for blades up to 24cm
2 x Blade Guard E (40x285mm) for blades up to 28mm
Remove dirt by vacuuming with a brush attachment or dust frequently with a clean, dry cloth.
If the leather is soiled, it can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth using a lather of any mild soap with lukewarm or distilled water. Always try on an inconspicuous spot first. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Do not spot clean the leather apron; always clean the entire surface.
Use wax (or leather wax) to clean the leather and straps. Do not use saddle soap, cleaning solvents, oils, furniture polishes, varnishes, abrasive cleaners, detergents, or ammonia on the leather. These will ruin the finish causing it to become sticky and cracked.
